Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Veracrop Inc. (“Veracrop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on veracrop.com (the “website”). It describes the technologies the website can load, depending on your choices, as of the date above, who provides them, and how you can control them. For how we handle personal information more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website or a third party stores in your browser. They let the site or third party recognize your browser on later requests.
We also use, or our vendors use on our behalf, other technologies that work in a similar way:
Pixels and tags. Small pieces of code that load with a page and send information about the visit, such as the page viewed, to the provider that supplied the code.
Local storage. A browser feature that lets a website keep or read small pieces of data on your device.
Server-side measurement. Statistics that a server calculates from the requests it receives, without storing an identifier in your browser.
Cookies are described in two common ways:
First-party or third-party. A first-party cookie is set on the domain you are visiting (here, veracrop.com). A third-party cookie is set on a domain operated by another company, such as a provider’s own domain. Some tools, including Google Analytics, run third-party code but set first-party cookies on our domain.
Session or persistent. A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser. A persistent cookie stays on your device until it expires or you delete it.
2. How We Use These Technologies
We use them for three purposes:
Analytics. To understand how visitors reach and use the website, and to improve it.
Advertising and marketing. To measure the results of our advertising and marketing through the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag and, when we run such campaigns, to show our ads on Meta and LinkedIn to people who have visited the website.
Content delivery. To load website content, such as fonts, from outside providers.
The website does not rely on cookies for its core functions.
We set Google Analytics cookies and load the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag only after you consent through the cookie banner. Umami and Framer Analytics are cookieless and are not controlled by the banner. Your choice is stored as described in Section 3.
3. Technologies Used on Our Website
The tables below list the technologies the website can load, depending on your choices, as of September 30, 2026. Where a provider does not publish a value, such as a cookie duration, that provider controls it and we link to its policy instead of stating a value.

Provider details
Google Analytics. Google Analytics 4 uses measurement ID G-JJZ0B241G8. It runs in Google Consent Mode and sets no cookies until you consent. Until then, Google may receive cookieless pings. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses, but uses them for security and to determine approximate location. See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Meta Pixel. The Meta Pixel (ID 2063697071175010) loads only after you consent to marketing. It records page views, including page changes within the website. Meta sets the durations of its cookies, and they are not stated in Meta’s public developer pages. See Meta’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Cookies Policy.
LinkedIn Insight Tag. The Insight Tag (partner ID 10577793) loads only after you consent to marketing. It sets cookies in visitors’ browsers. LinkedIn states that the tag collects the URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics, and a timestamp. LinkedIn states that it removes direct identifiers within seven days and deletes pseudonymized data within 180 days. See LinkedIn’s Cookie Policy.
Umami. We host Umami ourselves at analytics.veracrop.com. It does not use cookies. It counts page views, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and country. It identifies a session with a hash of the IP address, user agent, and website ID, combined with a rotating salt. See the Umami FAQ.
Framer. Our website platform is Framer. Framer Analytics does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. It hashes the IP address and user agent with a daily rotating salt and reports aggregate statistics: page views, referrers, device, browser, and country. Framer’s documentation does not list cookies set on published sites. Our own review of the website’s HTTP responses found no cookies set by the server. See Framer’s Privacy Statement.
Contact form. Submissions from the form on /contact-us are processed through Framer and delivered to Veracrop. The form does not use cookies. The Privacy Policy explains how we use submitted information.
4. Targeted Advertising and Your U.S. State Privacy Rights
Some U.S. state privacy laws may treat advertising pixels and similar technologies, such as the Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag, as “sharing,” “sale,” or “targeted advertising.” Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out.
You can ask us to opt you out of targeted advertising by emailing privacy@veracrop.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. For a full description of your rights and how to exercise them, see Section 11 (“U.S. State Privacy Rights”) of our Privacy Policy.
The website treats a Global Privacy Control signal as a choice to keep marketing technologies off, and it does not respond to Do Not Track signals. Opting out through the vendor tools in Section 5 is separate from a request to us.
5. How to Control Cookies
Cookie banner and Cookie settings. The cookie banner asks every visitor to choose. Select “Accept all,” “Reject all,” or “Customize.” Customize lets you switch Analytics and Marketing on or off and then select “Save choices.” Necessary is always on and only stores your choice. Until you choose, analytics and marketing stay off. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. If you withdraw consent, we delete the related first-party cookies on veracrop.com, such as _ga, _ga_*, _fbp, _fbc, li_fat_id, li_giant, and _gcl_au, and reload the page. Cookies set by Meta or LinkedIn on their own domains must be removed through your browser or the providers’ tools. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, marketing stays off and cannot be switched on in the banner. You can still choose analytics.
Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies, and browse in private mode, which normally deletes cookies when you close the window. The steps differ by browser, so check your browser’s help pages.
Provider opt-outs.
Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or review your Google Ad Settings.
Meta: use your Meta ad preferences and the Meta setting for activity from other businesses, which controls how Meta uses that activity to personalize ads.
LinkedIn: members can use Settings & Privacy, then Advertising data (“Data from others for ads”). Non-members can use LinkedIn’s guest controls. LinkedIn states that it opts U.S. users out of its own “sharing” when it receives a Global Privacy Control signal. That is LinkedIn’s behavior, not ours.
Umami: set the local storage key
umami.disabledin your browser and Umami will skip tracking.
Industry opt-outs. The Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) offer opt-out tools for participating companies. Meta participates in the Digital Advertising Alliance program.
Opt-outs and cookie deletion apply only to the browser and device where you make them. If you use another browser or device, or clear your browser data, you may need to repeat them. Because the website does not rely on cookies for its core functions, blocking cookies does not stop the website from working.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the technologies on the website, our vendors, or applicable law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
